Business Card
I made these business cards back in February; they were meant to be for all around use. However for this project, I will probably put more of a description to a specific type of photography for the customer. I'm thinking along the lines of event photography. Also, where it says "/CBuddPhotography", infront of that is supposed to be the Facebook icon, but for whatever reason it does not show up on this file I inserted.

CBudd Photography
1)
What is your business?
My business is a photography company who mainly focuses on events such as festival, outdoor concerts, parties.
2)
Describe your business in one sentence
Often times, my company is contacted by families our even larger corporations who need an event photographer.
3)
Who is your target audience?
My target audience could vary, but mainly reaches festival 'go-ers' as well as the actual festival/concert committee.
4)
Who are your competitors?
My competitors would be any other freelance photographers in the area that I am located. Bigger news corporations document and photograph events too.
5)
What makes them better/worse than your
product/service?
Most news photography just focuses on the main part of an event, or the typical cliche aspects of the event. I try to capture in the "in the moment" type of pictures, as well as somewhat street photography within the events. Most photographers look for posed pictures, where as I want completely natural moments.
6)
Do you currently have an identity? (This is more for companies that are already
established and you’re just revamping the logo/corporate identity. If you have a new company or product, skip
this question.)
------
7)
(If your answer to #6 is no, skip this
question) What do you like about it and
what don’t you like about it?
------
8)
How do you want your image to be seen in two
years?
I want customers to be able to recognize my logo and have a trust for professional quality and creativity. The overall reputation of the company should be in good light.
9)
If your company was an animal, what animal would
it be and why?
My company would be a chameleon because of the way it changes style within it's surroundings and needs of customers.
10)
If your company/brand was a person, who would it
be and why?
My company would be Sam Abell, a National Geographic photographer because of the way he is known to do something different than what is expected by him. Out of all the photographers on staff, he is known to be the "quiet photographer".
11)
If your company/brand was an object, what would
it be?
My company would be a brand new Canon 7D camera.
12)
If your customer was a cartoon character, who
would it be?
Nigel from the old cartoon show "The Wild Thornberries" because he usually always had his camera with him and was tracking down some type of event in the wild. My company doesn't work in the wild, but still involves tracking down an event or subject.

Song Lyric Inspired Images
I ended up making three of these! They were so fun to make! The last two are inspired from the song "If I ruled the World" by Nas. I knew that I was going to insert myself somewhere within the image, but it took a while to find the right photo of myself. One of them is more photography geared, with me holding my camera 'taking over the world'. The other one is more of me imaging what it would be like to rule the world. The very first image was inspired by the last two as well as by a song titled "Blue Ocean Floor" by Justin Timberlake. I think that one is my favorite of the three; I wanted it to be very dream-like and space-age style.

Jay Adams
I added a transparent bar at the bottom of the image to give it more of a news-cast feeling. I think I broke up the logos and text neatly enough so that it isn't overwhelming in one image. I corrected the grey hair he has and also softened the wrinkle lines on his face. I decided to keep the background as is to give a more natural feel.

Custom Scene
I created a starry night scene with bare trees. I created brushes out of the trees as well as the grass. I created my own custom pattern for the walkway as well. I tried to make the moon look as spherical as possible too!

Self-Insertion
Here are the two self-insertions I have done; I couldn't choose which one was the best. Here are the original backgrounds:
& here is the image of myself that I originally used:
I deleted the shadow of myself because the angle of it was very different than the shadows in the two scenes I chose.
